2005 tohatsu 50 missfiring.

Hi I'm new to the site so welcome any feed back.
I have a 2005 oil injected 50hp tohatsu outboard and at around 3000-4000revs it seems to be missfireing and sounds like it is running out of fuel, once I open her up she seems fine agian. I have took the plugs out and cleaned them, they do look a bit oily to be honest, but she starts first time every time and ticks over like a ***** cat. It has happened only occasionaly on my last three outings.
Any advice welcomed:)
 
Hi, I've changed all fuel lines and connectors as I've been told they corrode and let in air into the fuel, also changed the primer bulb and new plugs and fitted a Delphi fuel filter. All seems to be ok now, just a bit of general maintanance needed. Not took her out yet but fingers crossed this time.
