when i remove the flywheel is it normal for the magnet to be seperate from the flywheel or is that suppose to be attached together? could that be my no spark problem?
 
The magnet is glued in.That will cause the no spark.
Clean the surface of the flywheel and the surface of the magnet use a thin glue and put it back together.
Any leftover glue will make the magnet stick out too far and it will rub.So clean and sand and sand and clean!!!
