I have recently replaced the water separator filters and I just assumed that as I cranked the engines the fuel would be sucked into the filters. Alas, no. Do I need to prime these somehow? As they are in 3 parts I cannot fill them until I have installed them and while there seems to be a bolt on top of each I am not sure that is the way to go.
The filters have a cast alum. top, the filter and then a glass bowl.... ya, I know, not legal anymore.... and a cast bottom.
Is it possible the fuel tank vents are plugged? Unlikely that both at once would plug up.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
