Is a mercury 90 hp outboard interchangeable with a 1994 Mercury 90hp jet powerhead

I cant seem to find a mercury 90 jet power head for my baja blast boat.. does anyone know if the merc 90 outboard powerhead is interchangeable .. thanks

yes apparently it had a 90 hp mercruiser 3 cylinder two stroke engine in it before it was stolen , Gorrilla

The motors used in many jet boats are actually a " FORCE "---------------They were based on Chrysler Outboards.-----------------A Mercury 3 cylinder is not " the same " , not even close.

Thought so. They are out there, but parts are hard to come by.

Thanks for the info. any ideas on finding a motor which will bolt onto the jet pump...

E-Bay -( buyer beware ) may have something.-----------Used powerhead dealers are out there if you do a search.------------When you find one ( many folks are looking for them ) you should premix at 40 : 1 and forget about the automatic mixer.

Thanks, unfortunately because mine was stolen i need a complete engine ...
