Propeller Selection

Sure, you can go to a 4 blade. To make a suggestion we need a bit more info. What boat? What brand / model prop is the 15 x 17? What is the top rpm with an average load? Is the motor mounted on the transom or is there a jackplate?

We might assume you have a pontoon boat or a relatively heavy deep V. Let us know!

a 15x15 4 blade is roughly equal to a 15x17 3blade.why do you want to change?

Thinking maybe I can push my boat easyer at a lower rpm while saving on fuel. I'm not looking for speed just moving with lower rpm. shouldnt I save on fuel ? or Not I have readed some people use a 4 blade to come out of the hole quicker if thats all a 4 blade is good for? no need to change is it? just a waste of money and time right.
