Bravo , low water flow to sea water pump. Possible water fitting?

Hi Guys,
First off, thanks to Chief and others who have helped me with this ongoing situation. I believe that based on temps. and flow rates that the water flow to my customer's Bravo's sea water pump may be restricted. He was informed that it is likely that the water fitting at the hose which feeds the sea water pump is corroded and restricting it's flow. How much work is it to replace this fitting as I suspect it is hard to get to? Do you think it would be feasible to install a thru hull to supply the sea water pump rather than repl. the fitting? Also the boat is in the water and at 30 ft will remain in it until the end of the season here in Mass. I'm thinking that back flushing the sea water intake hose/fitting with a pressure washer might help it flow more and buy him some time, however if the pressure damages the fitting and causes a leak we could have a huge problem on our hands. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Jon C. Allen
