Is there any thing you can do to make a boat track straight better? Idling out of a channel trim down I'm all over the place, makes loading a bit tricky. Yes I am a new boat owner but in my younger days on friend's boats I don't remember it being this bad. I have a 21' 305 w/aplpha one 19pitch prop.

Because of water resistance, a boat steering is very slow to react at lower speed, therefore most tend to oversteer and end up constantly overcorrecting. Hence, you are zig zagging your way along. In this case less is more !!
