I have a 94 sport nautique with 351 5.8 pro boss and a mallory dist conversion with magnetic breakerless module. Boat wont start, keeps blowing modules. I replaced the coil and ordered a new module. Before i put the next $175 module on, I'm checking for shorts that may be causing the problem. The only thing I've found is the ignition wire coming from the ignition switchl shows continuity to the engine ground. Is this normal? I have my multimeter set on 200 on the ohms and the reading is 31.0 When I disconnect the kill switch and ohm out the wire going direct to the resister, it ohms out at 9.1 Any help would be greatly appreciated.
