Tohatsu 70B gauges...

Hello. I have a little problem with my 70b engine.I have replaced my steering system recently with a non feed back system(great!!) and for doing this i have taken off my gauges (tachometer ,trim meter).When i re-install them my tachometer didnt have night lighting (my trim meter didnt have any way...).I have the service manual but it doesnt refer to them at all.I also have the wiring diagram and it seems i connected them normally.I am a diy kind of guy and i make all the services of my motor my self years now.Any help?

Does the tach work OK, but just no light? Verify 12v to the bulb, and check the bulb.

Thanks for the response.The tach works just fine.But no light.I have no entry to the bulb( the same for the trim meter).I imagine it is located inside the meter.I must open it.Should i?

You can check the bulb without opening the meter by using an ohmmeter.
