Is there anywhere on the powerhead of a mid-early 80's Johnson that carries a serial/model no? My 115 started out as an 1982, but the powerhead was swapped out by the previous owner. I have checked the frost/swage plugs that I can find, and so far haven't found any numbers. I know that its not an 82 powerhead, as a lot of wiring was changed/swapped/butchered when the powerhead was changed. I was told its an 89 head, but from looking thru the parts diagrams, I don't think so.
