Just bought a used Yamaha 2001 50 TLRA which I have mounted and running. It came with a working Teleflex analog tachometer and a 3 ft wiring harness that extends the leads exiting the 703 control. One set of 703 leads has Red, Gray and Purple wires, other set has Red Black Green and Yellow. Extension harness has Red, Black, Yellow, Blue and Green leads.
Tach has Ignition, Send, Ground and Light terminals and is set to the 3P/6C position. Think I have read that Purple lead is typically the tach sending lead. Hoping someone out there can advise what coler leads connect to tach terminals.
