I am swapping the 70hp johnson from my boat with a 85hp from another boat. Both motors are 70's models, but my boat is newer. the 85 hp has electric shift. Any suggestions on big no-no's or little things I need to look out for? Any helpful hint would be awesome. The 70 hp has given me fits, so i found the 85 very cheap. I've installed a regilar Johnson motor shifter before, but never an electric shift. Thanks to whomever feels sorry enough for me to respond to this thread! Stay safe
