I am currently in the process of rebuilding my powerhead. Two of my pistons are not good but one cylinder is smooth and the other is pretty rough. My question is can I hone that one cylinder or better yet re-sleeve just that one. I have heard you have to re-do all but i don't see why when the cylinders look perfect to me.

Please feel free to let me in on your thoughts.

You can't re-sleeve any of the Force outboards.
A machine shop might get it honed enough to use.Otherwise bore it out .010 That size and you don't have to worry about re-jetting.
If it's good don't mess with it other than hone it.J

I am in agreeance with jerry here. on a two stroke motor you can re bore just one cylinder and put a oversized piston in. Talk to your machine shop and see. I would recomend finding someone that has a good rep. this is the foundation for the entire rebuild. If wearing is not bad they should be able to hone the cylinders. This should cost about 10-15$ a hole minus their set up fee. But anything jerry says is golden . Nick
