I have a 2001 Yamaha 40hp 2 stroke outboard motor. It will run great with the engine cover off but as soon as I put the cover on the RPM drops way down. I was told it was something to do with an exhaust gasket that has to be replaced. My question is does anyone know which gasket it would be.
