cleaning carbs.

hi folks.my [old about 80s] 50hp evinrude is dying when you give it throttle so i took off the carbs to clean.now im used to cleaning motorbike carbs where you screw out the jets and blow them out but where or how do i get to these jets as i cant see them just a tube in the middle?
 
The high speed jet is in the bottom of the float bowl !!-------------I am curious why you picked on the carburetors as the first item in your repair process / trouble shooting ????

it starts and idles but when you give it throttle to move it dies.so sounds like fuel problem.thats why im cleaning carbs. bottom of the float bowl??the float bowl holds the fuel how can the jet be at the bottom??
 
The jet is in the bottom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----------Look at it carefully and remove the plug in the front.---The jet is in there !!
