2006 Honda 115HP oil alarm??????

oil pressure warning light on and alarm sounding so i replaced the oil pressure sensor, changed the oil and filter and still when i take the boat out the oil pressure alarm sounds and seems to go into a "limp" mode please HELP!!
 
i have same prob 225hp 2006, dealer told me worn thrust bearing, 5 weeks out of warranty, need new power head. waiting for honda to see if they will cover it . hope you are still in warranty .
 
If the oil light is on, that means that there is good oil pressure. If the oil pressure light is "off"...that indicates bad oil pressure. Which is it?

Is the alarm a solid alarm or on and off? Do you have two or four indicator lights? Should have four.

Do all lights come on for two seconds when you turn the key switch to "on"? They should, if the lights are working right.

Are you sure you are not overheating? Does it go into limp home mode right away? Or does it take a few minutes?
