flywheel removal on 69 15hp evinrude.

need to pull flywheel. Manual says to use evinrude puller tool. Is there another way? Dont have that tool.

Steering wheel puller / harmonic balancer puller ------------------Just make sure you use the 3 holes with 1/4-20NC thread.------------Do not put bolts in too far as ignition coils may be damaged !!

I don't know if you have already done it yet, but I picked up a universal puller from harbor freight tools for 9 bucks; then went to hardware store and got (3) 2.5inch bolts that fit (about 40 cents) and it came right off.

Easy as pie.
