Well, tomorrow, I'm putting on my new head gaskets, and everything else. Just 1 question. Can I buy and use a ford automobile oil filter just to run the engine for 15 minutes, then change the oil and put on a marine oil filter?

Yup. Be sure to change the oil again after the engine is broken in. I just use Fram PH8 filters, not marine ones.
