1989 85 Force. The key will not start engine unless the neutral lever on the '89 bayliner is in just the right spot. This is getting harder and harder to find. Is there an adjustment somewhere?
 
Very simple the switch has a button in the middle.It should rest on the cam when in neutral.
You should be able to do it with out the book.J''
Try messing with it.Unhook the connectors and move stuff around.J
