I have a 1984 galxie 18 foot with a omc 3.0 motor and a omc sterndrive.I put in a set of new plugs, cap, and rotor,and a coil a new set of pionts and condenser.and 8mm plug wires. When I turn the motor over and watch the points I will get a good spark once in a while and a vert little spark once in a while. I would think the spark should be very bright and not drop off like it does. The motor wont start at all. With the lobe at the top where the points are open Im putting my gage at .019 and adjusting them. AM I doing something wrong? any help would be grateful thanks Mark
