carb rebuild

I,m going to rebuild the carbs and the fuel pump on my 96 75 hp 3 cyl 2 stroke. I have a manuel and am a decent backyard mech, however I have never worked on an outboard before are there any pittfalls I should watch out for or is it a fairly simple rebuild.

Yeah. Be sure to soak the carb bodies overnight in your favorite carb cleaner, and blow out/ poke out every passage you can find. Many omit this step and get nowhere.
