mercury 45 hp stator, triiger, or switchbox

Ok have 1986 45hp 4 cyc Merc that has no spark at any plug, or even electric coming off of switchbox, I do have power to the switchbox while motor is being turned over, but had olhms test done coming from stator with no reading on olhms meter, so what is wrong? Is it the switchbox or stator or trigger? Any help would be much appreciated!!
 
OUTBOARDIGNITION.COM Has procedures for testing the electronics on most outboards.
You might need a peak reading volt meter.Or the adaptor for yours.
I have a meter, Electronic-Specialties m-530 It's about $110. Jerry

Just because kill switch is run position, means nothing.Go to motor and disconnect black/yellow from switch box...Or just follow kill switch wire back, to switch box. If this wire is shorted it will kill all spark.This is just a place to check, before spending ton of money
