need help wiring starter solenoid

my son removed the starter solenoid without taggin the wires from a crudsader 5.7L 270HP carb motor........3 wires plus the battery switch to re-connect 1-thin gauge wire(red) 1 thicker gauge wire(red) 1-thin gauge wire(white) 1-battery switch wire.........what goes to the S terminal what goes to the R terminal and what goes to the larger middle terminal on the starter solenoid. thanks for the help !!!!!!
 
R is for a ballast resistor circuit IF you have one (it by-passes the resistor on starting). S is for the starter solenoid from the key switch. The thicker red wire is probably for accessories. If so, it should go on the side of the solenoid that stays attached to the battery via the Perko switch.

The two thicker wires should go on the "large middle terminal". The white wire goes to the S terminal, the "thin" (14 ga) red wire goes to the I (or R) terminal - It feeds 12 V to the fuel pump during cranking.

You can go to the Crusader WWW site and download the owners manuals for the newer models. the Classic versions have the diagram.
