2006 115hp won't restart

I have a 2006 115hp 4 stroke that starts fine when put in water. If i turn it off when fishing and go to restart it will not start. The motor will try to restart but does not. How can i test my fuel pump or is this a fact of changing plugs. Thanks Clinton
 
just turn on the ignition key and same time put your ear near at the engine, check any air blow sound happen if "yes" then your fuel pump is working.
check battery wire terminals, is there any rust or corrosion and check the battery as well. change spark plugs is not the issue for this case but after
changing the spark plugs must be tighten properly.
 
I just replaced spark plugs and replaced back fuel filter. The fuel filter in the back of the motor was pretty nasty. Hopefully i will be able to take it out tommorrow afternoon and run it a bit.
 
Thanks for the guys that replied to my post. I just wanted to give an update on my motor. I replaced the back fuel filter (DUHH) and ran the motor all day yesterday. It runs like it just came out of the box:cool: Thanks again for the replies.
