Hi all,
I have been given an old Yammie 40bm tiller twin with single carb. Has two coils to sparkplugs and all wires are disconnected.
Out of stator:
2 green with female bullet plugs
1 black that is grounded to block
1 white with a female bullet plug
1 orange with a female bullet plug
Coils have following:
1 white with male bullet plug
1 orange with male bullet plug
Motor has not run since water was discovered, yet looks in a very good condition. Obvious to replace impellor, plugs and such. I have not opened anything yet, apparently it has a points type ignition. Any truth in this?
Do I connect the white with white bullets and same for orange and fire up?
We want to use it for a 'toon so any advice is welcomed. Rig to be built, it's a pipe dream still!
