I have a '97 Stratos Trail trailer with standard issue chrome wheels. This past weekend I decided to polish them up with an SOS pad as I have done to many chrome wheels in the past. Now they are scratched and have a slight cloudy look to them rather than being nice and shiny.
The wheels seems as though they have some sort of coating on the chrome. Anyone ever had any experience with this? Is there anything I can do to fix the situation? If it is a coating, is there any way to remove it?
