1986 E40ELCDE fuel pump replacment

I have disconected the vro oil pump . now i want to repace fuel pump with a standard fuel pump . how do i do this

If the vro gas pump side is still working I would not replace the pump. That being said, Joe, should be along soon and he can most likely tell you off the top on his head the right fuel pump for your motor....

thanks the fuel pump side does not work. thats why i want to replace it

I have your same engine E40ELCDE! I do not have VRO pump in my engine, and it is using a fuel pump replacement. I will check the number and post them here.

Well I converted to the pump #18-7352 had to make adapter plate to mount. motor runs great ! thanks whaer

No need to make an adapter.--------------------The block has a place where the earlier style pump mounted directly to the block ( top cylinder / port side ).--------------------Just install a pump meant for an 83 model.
