'1975 Johnson 6hp, new rings, no fuel.

I just replaced the rings on a '75 Johnson 6hp and went to give it the first test run and am not getting any fuel from the carb to the cylinders. I am however able to run the motor temporarily by pouring a small amount of gasoline into the carb. The float bowl is filling with fuel as well. The carb was rebuilt last year and I just went through it 2 times to make sure there was no obstructions. I have not taken an air gun to it however. Just wondering any other issues besides the carb that could be giving me this problem? Or should I just concentrate on going through the carb again??

I re-built the carburetor last year without the engine ever running right, just firing up a few revolutions and sputtering out due to lack of compression. Didn't clean the carb until yesterday. hahaha.
