1988 bayliner trophy

I would like to completely re wire my bayliner trophy it has some shorts and just needs to be re-wired i would love some advice on where to get a wiring manual for the boat and love to hear from anyone who has done one. This is a project to do in my spare time but ultimately would like to have the boat up and running this year.
 
What is the boat powered by? I ask, because, Mercruiser (if that is the power) has generic wiring diagrams for the engine and instrumentation. If it does have Mercruiser, and you don't have the diagrams, I can send to you. I had an '80 19' Bayliner Eagle, with a 3.0L Merc, that had the wiring all ripped out when I got it. I rewired the engine / instruments / trim, per the Merc drawings, and everything worked fine. The other stuff such as Nav lights, bilge pump, horn, blower, and such, were a piece of cake.
