Gimbal bearing grease hole

Just got new gimbal bearing and the carrier does not have a grease hole that the tolerance ring is suppose to line up with. Is this a mistake or have the gimbal bearing chanced? It is a Qiucksilver gimbal bearing.

Merc's new bearings are sealed now. You should have gotten instructions in the box with a small set screw that is used to replace the greese nipple in the transom assembly. You'll need a #20 tamper proof (nipple in center) torx key or socket to install it.
 
Thanks, I was just looking at the bearing, it was in a box by its self. The instructions and screw were in a plastic bag with the shift boot.

You're all set then. If you don't have or want to buy the torx bit, you can substitute the plug with one you're use on canvas tubing that is a regular hex allen key. Use Perfect Seal or equivalent on the threads.
