Thread: Mixed Fuel

    Default Mixed Fuel

Ok, I found that the skeeter boat i bought with a 150 evinrude intruder does not have a oil resevoir down by the battries. So i took the gas line off of front of motor and pumped it out of the gas tank into a clear jug and it looked like TEA, Is that what color mixed gas in a boat is supposed to look like.? I know that mixed fuel for a chainsaw and weedeater is a blue/green color. is there that much diffrence between the mixed fuel.? Thanks

check the color of the gas remaining on the tank and compare... if they are TEA, I think it is old...
