I need a isolation diode from this alternatior (red heat sink that is on back)

A good Starter/Alternator/Battery shop should be able to repair this, or supply you with the diode.

BTW, the Marine Delco 10Si should replace this alternator, if that's an option for you.
Not extremely high end, but a very good value..... and tried and proven. These have been in use for years!
Shown here is the single wire version.
You can find these for under $80 at times.
