running issues

we have a 30hp m30a3 model it was last used about 2 years ago just after a service ran fine have mixed a batch of new fuel but we can start it but can only keep it running if we keep the choke pulled out once we push the choke in the motor bogs down and stops.Removed the carb and checked float,gave it a good clean with carb cleaner still no luck got good fuel flow to carb.Any ideas?
 
You are too lean. Do a proper carb cleaning. That requires a complete disassembly and a 4-hour soak in a real carb dip such as Tyme.
 
sounds similar to the issues i had, actually found out that "ethanol" was melting the inside of my fuel line gumming up the entire carburator
