not a crusader question but...i want to put a 2.5 gallon point of use hot water heater from home depot on my 34c silverton under the galley sink to eliminate the big bulky one under the cockpit between the fuel tanks so i can put another fuel tank in. question is does the hot water heater need to be USCG approved or not. and what electronics do for that matter. my flat screen certainly is not. thanks guys. rick
 
I installed one under the galley sink in the old boat. It worked fine for one year, then it just rusted away. The boat was dry, kept in brackish water, and it pegged the AC amp meter on shore power.
