Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and very new to vintage outboard restoration. Can anyone tell me anything about his motor?(i.e. year? worth restoring? ease in finding parts? First things I should do/check to get her up and running again?)

Any help would be much appreciated. I have aquired this motor as a "learn it as I go" project but am a bit overwhelmed and could us a bit of direction to start off. This board is a great resource and I look forward to your replies. Thanks all!

I dont have the motor in my hands right now, but should soon and will find out the serial number. It is missing the prop blade and side covers so if anyone has any suggestions as to where I might find these items I would much appreciate it.
