Hello!
I am new here and need to make a wise decision. I am counting on your help so that I need not to ask for any repair help for the next 3 years
!
My Nissan 25 hp 2 stroke is dead! Amen! I need an new out boarder on my Carib 12".
I received a offer for a 25 hp 2 stroke Evinrude e tec Model E 25 DRISC plus a simple control box (for forward & reverse) because the engine comes without electric start.
This engine sounds to be good following the I-Net so far.
I received another offer for a Yamaha 25 hp 2 stroke electric start with a new control box which is about $300 more expensive then the Evinrude.
Yamaha 25 hp 2 stroke will not be build any more in the future.
Here in St. Thomas USVI I hardly see any Evinrudes but almost Yamahas.
Now...which engine shall I buy?
