location of oil filter on 2003 3.0L

I am searching for the oil filter on my merc 3.0L and I cannot find it. I found the fuel/wilter separator just fine.

I am intrigued, post a pic of the motor starboard side and get the dist in the pic. Should be a little forward and lower the can.

could be wrong but the 3.0's I have seen had an oil filter but no fuel /water filter?

Hmmmmm,.... I've never tried it,... Are those filters the same thread pitch,..??

I agree, cannister sytle fuel filter is no doubt an Owner added feature on a 3.0l...

Here is a pic of my 2005 3.0l. The oil filter is the white can just to the right of the crank pully.

Sorry guys, the white can is to the left of the crank pully underneath the water pump hose. My dum dum.
