1987 bayliner capri

I have a 1987 bayliner capri , with a volvo penta stern drive motor. My question is I have to get it winterized soon, Real Soon. My boat mechanic cant do it . I am fairly handy> and would like to do it myself. Is it something I should attempt, or leave it to the experts.
 
In '87, the Capri would have typically been OMC powered.
If you are certain this is V/P, then pick up an OEM manual for your engine/drive.
