Yes, but you'll have to put in flat top pistons, marine cam and head gaskets. Swap steel casting plugs for brass, install rear sump oil pan and rear oil pickup tube, change distributor to marine, change carb to marine, change fuel pump to marine. Replace starter with marine, replace....
....are you beginning to see a pattern here?
 
Dont watse your time or your money.......

Buy a rebiult long block from a reputable seller and be done with it........

If you want to argue about this fine but I guarrentee this is the ONLY way to go.
