Looking to do an oil change on my 2005 Volvo Penta 5.0GL, and noticed this hose connection on the left side of the engine. Can someone tell me for certain if this is a direct garden hose connection that essentially does the same thing that muffs would do on the outdrive for running while out of water?
Looks like the line feeds down into the hoses that are connected to the impellar housing (first picture) so I'm thinking that it must be. Just want to be sure before pulling the trigger. Thanks
