wanted: BF225 Honda wiring harness.....

Found me a nice running freshwater 2005 spare 225 Honda. Now, what I'd like is a wiring harness with key switch, so I can run it mounted on a rack. The fella I bought it off of had a harness and that's how we ran it when I was at his place.

also looking for the "aluminum" piece of the lower cowling (underside) on the starboard side that is where the cables and wires come into the motor. And the "black plastic shield" that covers all the plugs on the front (under the cowl) of the motor, adjacent to the Oil filter.

Used okay, as long as the whole thing is intact.

Wiring harness: Should be key switch, wires with several plugs to plugs at motor, to include square black fuse block (I believe).

I still have to look up the complete part numbers for these items. But thought I'd give a shout out to the vast audience here.

For wiring harness and key switch, I would advise investing in new ones. Recommend the 4-light key switch set up. You can see your options at http://marine.honda.com/products/accessories. You probably can order those through marineengine.com.

As for the other parts, get the part numbers and plug them into Google and see what pops up.
