Electric Starter doesn't work after dunking 15hp

We have a 15HP Johnson that was upside down in the water for a couple of hours after our pontoon boat flipped.

It was drained and all that fun stuff; works fine with pull start, but no electric start.

Connections have been cleaned, checked, rechecked, etc. Battery is good.

Any input as to what to try next would be much appreciated.

With the starter circuit engaged, check for voltage at the elctric starter stud to make sure that the proper 12 volts is actually reaching the starter.

Remove, dismantle, and clean the electric starter..... this is a must!
