Honda 9.9 jumps out of locked position when accelerating in reverse.

If it is a manual tilt, are you making sure the tilt release lever is properly positioned? If it has a tilt `n' trim unit, make sure that the manual release screw is tight and seated. If it is, then the unit could be low on fluid. If it is low on fluid, it most likely has a leak as these don't "use oil".
