Tamd41p-a

I got a tamd41a in my boat i have two 27dcm marine batteries no problems your supposed to use one for starting and alternate between use
does that 41p smoke alot i was told by my marina when time to reuild they were going to make my eng. a 41p by changing pistons

I also have a two bank battery tender plug into shore power when boat isn't being used
 
41a (smoky model) is commonly upgraded by using 41b or 41p pistons, which eliminate startup smoke curtain.

any walmart car battery will start your motor, i am using 650cca ($60?) one
