Ignition switch on the upper helm?

I'm about to re-wire my upper helm, mainly because the upper ignitions do not work. I have followed the diagrams and everything seems to be correct and the ignition switches are new.

Any ideas? Do I need a dual-station ignition swich?

FYI: the lower helm ignition switches work just fine.

thanks!

If you have AQ 260's, that gives me an idea of the boat's age.
The upper helm instruments and ignition, are typically wired in parallel with the lower station.
Lower station Port side key ON..... upper station Port side instruments are ON as well.... and visa-versa.

Ignition switches are just standard. Nothing special about them. I like the Cole Hersee.

The Nav light wiring can get a bit tricky if you have a split mast light.

Have you tried to find any bad hull harness connections that may be your entire issue?
