Raw Water Strainers

Hi all,

I have an old Chris Craft with twin Crusader 270. What I don't have i sraw water strainers installed. Can someone please recomend what strainers I should be looking into?
 
Same for me, I bought them used, replaced the gaskets and they have been in MY boat 3 years so far, working great
 
Groco, here, too.....going on 25 years.

Only issue was one of the basket corroded thru. The replacement has been fine ever since.

When you go to mount them, make sure servicing them is taken into consideration. Not only basket removal but access to the drain plugs.
 
Groco in use on Charlie Ann for 25 years. Have one on each engine and one on the generator. Only trouble was that the plastic bowl on the one serving the generator developed a small crack. The mechanic (me) didn't tighten the bolt circle properly. This caused a small air leak that wiped out an impeller on the raw water pump on the generator every 20 - 25 hours for about a dozen changes before I figured out the problem. No problems for the last 15 years.
