In May I installed an Ignitor System on my 1983 Pleasurecraft 351 Ford in my Ski Supreme. It has run flawlessly all summer until just now when the engine stopped while idling at the dock and would not start. It is getting gas. The engine turns over fine. I pulled the number one spark plug and grounded it to a bolt head on the block: no spark. The Ignitor System came with a new coil, and it called for by-passing the old ballast resistor, which I did. Like I mentioned, it has run beautifully all summer but just quit and now it will not start.
I could find no blown fuses or parted wires, and I pulled apart the main cable plug at both ends and examined posts and sockets; no apparent defects.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
