Sea King Montgomery Ward info please

I recently puchased a Montgomery Ward Sea King model number K550 (4106A), 5HP...from some of the listings I think it may be newer than I originally thought...maybe 70's?...came anyone help with more info please? Year?...Gale? or? Johnson/Evenrude parts interchangeable?

Not by Gale or any other part of OMC. Made by Clinton sometime in the late 70's or early 80's. Try http://discount-marine-parts.com/ for possible parts/manuals.

The OMC Sea King is what you want, I have a couple 5 hp twins with tank on top and gear shift, one has the fuel pump too for external tank as well. Great motors!

Thanks guys...it is indeed a Clinton 550 made in 70's...and had a fuel pump w/external tank...I am taking it out for a test today on my Watertender 9.5...I also found an EBay site for parts and manual. I believe it will be a fine little 2 stroker...I guess 50:1 should be OK for oil.
