drain plug in the block??

can any please inform me if there is a drainplug to drain water out of the engine block on a 1988 3.0mercruioser my in crackes and i am wanting to drain it beyond the crack so ican attempt to "glue it back together" and thanks again for all your help
 
ya ifigured that what water did drain out of it would just run out of the transom drain any ways but i got it all back togeter now and had it fired up the "glue" held for running it on the muffs so far but since i am running out of time and i have to worlk all week long then the water runs will hav eto hold off till next weekend
