bought a 1983 Mark Twain 25' cabin cruiser. been in storage for about 4 years. cleaned it up, and "de" winterized it, and off to the water we went!!! boat ran great!! thought I had made a great deal!! puttered around for a little bit, then OFF TO THE RACES!!! oops.... boat pulls great till about 2000 rpm, then engine revs up and nose goes down.. Mama's not happy
. It's a 260hp mercruiser inboard.. think it's a 1982 model engine and lower unit.. wondering if anyone can help me figure out the problem... put it in gear and tried to turn the prop by hand, 1/4 turn at a time.. won't budge.. any help would be greatly appreciated by me and family. thanks!!!
